Obama's not my savior, but I don't think he's nearly as dangerous as this character.

Sarah Palin! ZOMG! Christian, Mother, Governor - she has it all right? No wonder 'the left' hates her so much. No wonder the 'liberal media' attacks her so vociferously.

Earlier this morning, I wrote that the attacks on Governor Palin — particularly the breaking into her e-mail — were making me sick. One reader wrote, “I, too, have been feeling a physical revulsion over the Left’s determination to destroy Sarah Palin, by any means necessary.” That reader spoke for many.

One of them said, “What would be the general media reaction if Obama’s e-mail were hacked and disseminated? It would be a lot stronger.” That, too, is a common sentiment.

Reality check - no one is trying to destroy Sarah Palin. The fact that people get so tussed when she gets asked a few honest questions would crack me up if it wasn't such an obvious display of pathology.

And email-gate, come'on people - if you're running for national office why are you still using a yahoo account? Do you think Barack Obama, Joe Biden, George Bush or Karl Rove are dumb enough to have gmail? Do you think they send official government email from those accounts? Puh-lease.

I find it disturbing that individuals believe there's some 'left wing liberal media' conspiracy against Sarah Palin.

Other readers said that Palin was finished, done: “I see that the polls have dramatically switched in Obama’s favor within just one week. I guess that the Borking — the destruction — of this governor is complete.” Another reader said, “I thought Sarah Palin would be a superstar. Now, she’ll be nothing more than a national joke. The Republicans haven’t fought back. The MSM has won.”

Then there is continuing amazement over the sheer hatred that Palin has aroused: “I am almost 60 and come from Massachusetts. In all my years, I have never seen anything like this, and don’t want to see it ever again. I have a friend who is both feminist and left-leaning. I asked her why they hate Palin so much. She said, ‘Because she’s had it all: family, career. And she did it without a man like Bill Clinton helping her. She did it on her own.’”

I have said it before: Hillary Clinton’s husband was president of the United States. Sarah Palin’s works the night shift in an oil field. Who is the feminist hero? Bien sûr.

Gee and those massive switch in the polls is all due to the MSMs treatment of Sarah? Nothing to do with the tragic state of economy and how John McCain helped deregulate us here? Wake up. Read a book, and then realize that the media - like both major candidates, and their parties - are owned by ultra-rich super-secret white men.

Then please stop complaining about their 'treatment' of Palin. Gawd, she's had three interviews, which she's fumbled almost completely due to her inexperience, lack of knowledge, and obvious handling by party puppeteers. Have you seen this last one? It's a riot:


She's got nothing, no facts, no evidence, nothing but 'her understanding' which if you check the facts is completely wrong.

Beyond that, the above author writes nothing about Palin's dangerous belief in dominionism. What's that you say?

Dominionism's original branch is Christian Reconstructionism, a grim, Calvinist call to theocracy that, as Reconstructionist writer Gary North describes, wants to "get busy in constructing a Bible-based social, political and religious order which finally denies the religious liberty of the enemies of God."

Notorious for endorsing the public execution by stoning of homosexuals and adulterers, the Christian Reconstructionist movement is far better known in secular America than Joel's Army. That's largely because Reconstructionists have made several serious forays into mainstream politics and received a fair amount of negative publicity as a result. Joel's Army followers eschew the political system, believing the path to world domination lies in taking over churches, not election to public office.

Media Blackout: The Armada in the Gulf

The most important news for the month of August was the fact that President Bush has quietly sent the largest armada into the Persian Gulf since the Iraq war began in 2003, when there were six carrier groups. This is a huge number of ships to be concentrated in one location in peacetime.

This story has been completely ignored by the news media all over the West. The only coverage is from special-interest websites. It was only on Saturday morning, August 23, that I learned what was going on.

No big right? After all - no one important is talking about it, so why should you care. Heck, there was a killer Eagles game yesterday (or whatever your local football team is), the MTV Video Music Awards, the Obama/Biden v McCain/Palin duel, and we just finished the Olympics in Beijing. Yeesh with all that fun stuff to pay attention to who gives a fuck about a huge armada being sent to the Middle East. Who cares if we might potentially be waging war against Iran in the near future? Who cares if Oil hits $400+ a barrel....

Now that you might want to care about. From the above article:

Depositors are already jumpy. If it appears that the Western economies are going to go into a simultaneous recession, because of a sharp increase in the price of oil that is likely to become permanent, the West's banking system, and surely its capital markets, will be at risk. The Iranians understand this. There is no reason why the rest of us should not understand this. Hence, there is a blackout on all information of the assembling of the armada all over the Western world.

But what's that mean for me, right? Let me illustrate: your job - gone, your ability to afford heating oil this winter - forget about it, food costs will skyrocket, and most importantly our sons and daughters will be sent to war because psychopaths with a microphone can manipulate more people then care to think for themselves. Fucking Zombies.

I read about how ring-wingers are likely followers because their brains are hardwired that way, how Alaskans, including her own mother-in-law, describe Sarah Palin as a racist, a vindictive angry woman with a temper. How she spent incredible amounts of money and left the town she mayor'd in 22 million in debt (and guess what, it was making a surplus when she took office - sound familiar?).

To top it all off, an Iraq Vet Against the War protested cleverly during McCain's speech @ the RNC - and what do the mindless droves of zombies do? They chant, USA! USA! USA! as if it somehow deflects the protest. Reminds me of the "LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!" we used to use as children. Speaks volumes really.

I guess I'm just suffering from a huge burden of 'impending doom' syndrome. I feel it, deep within my psyche - that our world is headed for colossal disaster, and I'm not talking Katrina or the Tsunami disaster, I'm talking billions of people dead or worse. What's scary is that no one seems to feel that way, no one pays attention to the signs except a handful of bloggers and internet writers. We're the ones paying attention to what's going on, trying to sound the alarm, but it's as if no one wants to hear it. No one wants to believe it, and that want is more powerful then their survival instincts.

If someone tried to wake you in the night, to warn that your house was on fire - how would you react?

Most Americans would prefer to burn in the comfort of their bed, apparently.
